The Goal of the Project :
This scene was created as part of my 5th semester at SMU Guildhall, for my Direct Focus Study II class. The subject of the class was to create works for our graduating portfolios.
For this assignment, I fell in love with Angelica Silva’s concept for Solaire’s Teahouse and decided to create it as a game-ready environment.
I utilized mid poly modeling techniques in combination with face-weighted normals for all of the modular kit pieces. The only items I baked were the round doors.
All of my texture work was done with a combination of Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer.
